The study revealed that young people between the ages of 18 and 35 prefer to live in the capital region, but not in a dense urban environment, but rather in the urban or more diffuse areas where you can live in a private home, have a personal home and enjoy the proximity to nature and privacy. However, they also prefer multiplex and home ownership in rural areas. A safe and pleasant living environment with good public space and accessible services is considered important. When working, flexibility is desired and the content of the workplace is valued more than wages. When moving, short distances are desired, walking and car driving are preferred, but dissatisfaction with public transport is high. All in all, the results of the study show the desire of young people for a diverse, flexible and high-quality use of space that future planning should take into account.
